In 2008, my passion for fine art was ignited, and I embarked on a 12-year journey guiding children ages 3 to 16.
Working on The Art Tribe
The Art Tribe, established in 2019, offers creative art lessons for children, emphasizing colour and form awareness. It formed strategic partnerships, launched an e-commerce website, and received the Chen Su Lan Award in 2020 for its dedication and commitment to community service.
Responsibilities include:
- Mentored and managed a team of 8 to deliver art classes and curriculum materials with a prominent venue partner in Tanglin, Singapore.
- Negotiated strategic partnerships with children-oriented merchants and spaces, including international illustrators and artists.
- Launched an e-commerce website with curated books and merchandise, eventually receiving the Chen Su Lan award in 2020 as a mark of dedication, commitment and ethos of service to the community.
